Friday, 4 p.m. – sounds like a perfect time to leave the office, only to… come back to it shortly after, and meet up with the team which creates Wise People. An exquisite occasion – because it’s not every day that a company changes its location. A house (office!) warming party is one thing, but there was no time to relax on Saturday either. As it had been said before, we actively joined the 6th Bydgoszcz Hackathon. This is what the weekend in the life of a Wiser looks like.
New office, but the same, good atmosphere!
We moved to a new address – 102/14 Skorupki Street in Bydgoszcz, although practically it matters only for a part of the team. We are hybrid, we are from all over Poland. However, when the Bydgoszcz team “settled” in the new office for good, those who were able to, came over with a small gift to celebrate this moment together.
Together – it is the key word. We work as a team, meet on daily basis or on all sorts of remote calls. Slack, Google Meet and so on. Cameras, messages, emails. And we work well together. But, there is nothing like live meetings. There is nothing enforced or imposed about them. There’s a group that feels comfortable in each other’s company and quite naturally keeps up with late-night conversations.
